Webmail is used for accessing your email accounts directly from a web browser without the need to configure any local email clients at all.
If your hosting account uses cPanel, then you most probably have the webmail option enabled.
Access Webmail directly from your WordPress site
The easiest method for accessing your Webmail client is by using your actual site’s domain name. Most of the hosting companies such as InMotion Hosting, A2 Hosting and Bluehost provide the feature to access Webmail by just adding a /webmail
to your domain name. For example:
yoursite.com/webmail
Access Webmail from cPanel
There are different ways to access your Webmail. The most common method is through cPanel.
1. Access your cPanel account.
2. Go to the cPanel section called Email and click on the Webmail Access button.
3. Scroll down a bit and click on the More option under Actions. Select Access Webmail from the dropdown. Once you click on it, you will be redirected to your webmail account.
Note the address of your server in your browser’s address bar. You can save or bookmark that address so you can use it for direct access to your webmail.
4. Select your default Webmail client. Roundcube provides one of the most intuitive webmail interfaces. Other popular webmail clients are Horde and SquirrelMail.
5. You’re now in your Webmail client and you can start sending your emails right away.
