How long does a domain transfer take to complete successfully
Usually, a domain transfer doesn’t take too long – it can take up to 5 – 7 official working days, but not less than a day. If the transfer of the domain is performed between two registrars that have plenty of experience with domain name transfers, there shouldn’t be any issues. However, when transferring domain names to or from some local domain registrars the process could take even more time as sometimes the process doesn’t go so smoothly. The short answer is no. Domain transfer and site transfer are two different processes. The domain name transfer is the process of transferring your domain name only. This means that the site isn’t going to be transferred to the registrar or hosting provider that your domain name is being transferred to.
